What Causes Low Platelet Count While Suffering From Fever And Cold?
Hi!My 20month old son is ill with fever & cold.I test blood test of him on 31/01/2017..result found haemoglobin is 4.4g/dl. And Wbcs count is 12400/cmm.and Rbcs count is 3.72mill/cmm.and platelate count 192000/cmm. Then doctor prefer 220ml blood transplant and done it on 01/02/2017. Then retest of blood test on 04/02/2/17 and result found haemoglobin is 12.9g/dl.and wbcs count is 19700/can and rbcs count is 6.22mill/cmm.and platelate count 54000/cmm. Please give us reply how can it possible platelate is drastic low?
Generally, the cause of low platelet count can be attributed to dengue fever so accordingly, it can be treated. Low platelet count has also many causes like autoimmune disease, certain medicines, infection, surgery, pregnancy, and too much blood clotting. Discuss with your physician and take an opinion for treatment accordingly.
