What Causes Low Pulse Rate And Less Energy?
Iam a 69yr old widow , 5'3" and wt.175lbs. I take toprol 50mg, benicar 20mg.,/hct12.5mg and something for clostrol. have had a heart stent for about 5 years. Problem I don't have enough energy for my lets to walk but about 20mins. My pulse is around 56bpm and b/p 120/90. Is the reason I have no energy my pulse being so low and what would cause this?

You are been given tab toprol which causes low pulse rate, so this the cause for low pulse rate.
You should discuss with doctor regarding reduction of the dose of toprol. Also keep track of pulse rate and blood pressure, three times a day for one week then once or twice a week.
