What Causes Low Sperm Count Inspite Of Undergoing IVF Treatment?

Hi Doctors,I am having a low sperm count, we are going for ivf treatment, before i had 8 mil now it is nill . they have suggested me to take HCG U 5000 injections i took it for 1 month 2 twice in a week still my spream count is not comming up for the ivf treatment. Please advice me i need few good spream to go for ivf ,Thanks, Yogi

Hello Yogi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern that you are going for IVF procedure.
It is alright even if the sperm count is low, but quality of sperms must be good.
In the course of selection process, if the count is good, the possibilities of getting good quality sperms is also good. Hence they try to increase count by hormone injections.
Also in IVF procedure, egg quantity should be also good and so as embryo quality.
Hence don't be so worried. Things will happen. All the best.
