Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What could be the causes of my Vitamin D level remaining low? I completed a course of Prescription level D2 this simmer and now a blood check shows that I am still deficient. The Rx has been renewed. One weekly and the one per month for 4 months.
Continue with the vitamin D3 supplementation (generally 60 K per week). Get exposed to direct sunlight between 11 AM TO 1 PM. Vitamin D is only one that can be made by our skin from sunlight. Take plenty of milk and milk products for calcium.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH, General & Family Physician
