What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramping And Vaginal Spotting When Diagnosed With PCOD?

Hi, i had my periods on 16 of this month & on 30 of the same month i got spotting, now the spotting has stopped but i have cramps in my lower abdomen left side & i also have pcos i m on glucophage for 7 months now taking follic acid & vitamins regularly.. Can u tell me why is this happening? Is it normal or should i concern my doctor?

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com Sorry to hear about your issues. Please note that by definition of symptoms you have irregular menstrual cycles that is associated with PCOS. You may get spotting when the "cysts" rapture put in lay mans terms. Some patients are placed on oral contraceptive poills to regulate their menses. Hope this puts you at ease. Good luck
