What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramps And Backache While On Siphene?

Hi I started to take siphene 150mg from 3d day of my periods. Now on 9th day I did intercourse. But after that we didn t have any sex. today is 16th day from my periods. But from today I am feeling lower abdominal cramp along with backache. Two days before I hv done pregnancy test but it resulted -ve. Is there any possibility of being pregnant?

I understand your concern.
Siphene tablets contain 'clomiphene', which is used to induce hormones needed for ovulation so as to aid in the ovulation process.
It is essential to have intercourse during your fertile period between 10th day to 17 day of your periods to increase the chances of fertilization.
What symptoms you are experiencing like abdominal cramps and backache could be general symptoms which could be associated with ovulation and it does not predict that you could be pregnant. Also taking pregnancy test in the mid of the cycle does not reflect about pregnancy.
To know weather you are pregnant or not, you need to take urine pregnancy test after one week, if your periods are delayed.
