What Causes Lower Abdominal Cramps And Constipation?
I experienced sudden lower abdominal cramps which woke me up at 4 am yesterday morning. I was constipated and finally had a bowel movement... small solid pieces at first. I had the urge to go numerous times after that. Difficult to pass any stool. Diarrhea then set in. Bright red blood was visible in the bowl and on the paper. Moderate amounts of blood continued to pass for several hours. Today the cramps are mild, but there is still stomach discomfort. No bowel movement today. Should I be concerned or just wait for this to pass? I haven t experienced anything like it before. Movements are typically regular, daily and without any difficulty.
Hemorroid problem also cause blood in stool.. Detail history and investigation give exact idea..
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.. Stool examination test is helpful to detect any infection.... Abdominal ultra sonography is helpful for further diagnosis... Colonoscopy can done for further diagnosis....
I hope my guidance helpful to you.... Take care. Thank you.
