What Causes Lower Abdominal Discomfort Post Lithotripsy?

I have just had a lithotripsy on a kidney stone on Monday. On Wednesday I have constipation. Discomfort in the lower abdomane. Wanting to sit on the toilet all the time but only passing only a few minute bits of waste and what I would call painful wet wind. Have been up all night !

Hi,
Welcome To HCM & Thanks For Asking Your Query Here

however Abdominal pain is fairly common after lithotripsy , but it is usually not a cause for worry. However, persistent or severe abdominal pain may imply an unexpected internal injury. Occasionally, stones may not be completely fragmented during the first treatment and further lithotripsy procedures may be required.

Constipation may also cause abdominal discomfort so treating constipation may help in ease the abdominal pain Too

but if your abdominal pain do not go away within 3-7 days than finally i would strongly suggest you to see Your surgeon to get it further evaluated

I hope it help
