What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain And Aching In The Penis?

I have lower abdominal pain and aching/discomfort in my penis. I went to the doctor and ruled out a UTI and STDs (which I knew I didn t have) and discovered I have an enlarged prostate. The blood work showed a normal PSA. I have an upcoming appointmnent with a urologist, but not until 12/7/16 and the pain is there. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear,
I understand your concern. Enlarged prostate may be because of Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH). It may give retention of urine in the bladder due to blocking of the passage of urine.Cancer of prostate is another reason, but if the PSA is normal then its not the case. Most probably your problem may be due to BPH.There are medicines for BPH like Tamsulozin which reduces the disease. NO need to panic. Hope i answered your question.Get well soon.
Thank you
