What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain While On Valtrex For Cold Sore?
I am taking valtrex for a cold sore and is my first time. I been having some of the side effects but i am not sure if it is because i am also sick too for awhile now. After taking the meds about hr and a half later i started hurting in my kidney area from one side to the other and then to abdominal pain too. Didnt last too long though. Still have alittle cramping now. Then i got the cold chills and a fever which is what my cold has been giving me too so i dont know if it is associated with the pills or my cold. So should i stop taking the rest or continue? I am ok now drank alittle nyquil. Should i worry or is that somewhat normal?

Valtrex is known to cause abdominal pain and camping sensation. The symptoms mentioned are most likely be due to the medication. So unless you are comfortable now with it , it is better to discontinue Valtrex. Thanks.
