What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain?

Iv bin having pain in my lower abdomen to the side, doctors think it was a kidney stone, but they couldnt find it while scaning. I was ok for about 3 weeks but again the pain came suddenly two days back along with burning sensation while passing urine. The urine samples contained puss cells, high rbc, and calcium oxalate crystals. What can this be, and how do i recover

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

You probably have an urinary tract infection from a renal or ureteric stone. Stones can often be missed on a pelvic ultrasound.

I would suggest to

- not to worry
- Drink loads of water
- Drink Cranberry juice to prevent further exacerbations
- I would start tablet Nitrofurantoin. Your doctor can guide on the exact dosage.

Visit a urologist. He/she can examine you and correlate clinically.
