What Causes Lower Back Pain And Chronic Muscular Pain?
I am very confused as to whether I have fibromylgia or sciatica - I have chronic muscular pain and it hurts a lot when I touch almost every point in my body. I do not have any ibs or bowel disorders. And I don t think I ve ever had a herniated disc for it be sciatica but I have severe pain in the lower back down the side of my legs.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lower back pain and chronic muscular pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sciatica , myofascial pain syndrome and fibromyalgia .I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order complete blood count , erythrocyte sedimentation rate , thyroid function tests , MRI , CT scan , check trigger points and electromyography to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may recommend surgery in some cases , physical therapy , which is very effective , steroid injection , analgesic and antidepressants like Duloxetine . For now take ibuprofen for pain and apply warm compresses on back .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
