What Causes Lower Back Pain And Delayed Period During Perimenopause?
I m 46 and in peri menopause. Having severe low back pain (and into my bottom).I am 3 days late (ept says negative. Some relief with bowel movement but pains have lasted 3 days. Could this be part of menopause or is a colonoscopy needed? I eat a gluten free diet and am not overweight
I really appreciate your concern. Your symptoms of back pain and delayed period could be because of menopausal changes taking place in your body. So digestive system disturbance is quite normal in premenopausal age. There is no need of colonoscopy. Be realx and enjoy your life. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
