Hello,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.
Before running into final conclusions, I have some some questions to ask that would make your health situation more clear.
- is this the first time you're having such problems?
- have you ever done any tests before or recently to see your
kidney function?
- do you suffer of any other diseases that may give back pain?
- any family history for kidney diseases?
- have you measured your blood pressure?
Chronic kidney diseases may cause back pain but they are also combined with
urinary tract disturbances, which you are not reporting.
They can make blood pressure rise as well.
Hypertension is a side effect or a complication of these diseases. However, in your case, I should be sure that you have hypertension by measuring your blood pressure (bp) or by analyzing the figures.
Your headache may be because your hypertension, however, other causes, like tension
headaches, or
stress should be also ruled out.
As you may see, the best thing you should do is to monitor your bp. An urine analysis, abdominal
ultrasound and kidney function test are advised to rule out chronic kidney disease.
Low back X-ray is advised to rule out spondyloarthrosis or other pathologies related to
vertebral column or joint problems.
Hope it was of help!
