Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Lower Back Pain And Irregular Bowel Moments?
i have pains in my back on the lower left side and it goes up the whole left side and across the top of my back also my bowel movements have been irregular i also have very bad pains in my right elbow and forearm it hurts sometime when i breath it has been going on for about 2 months
Overall, it seems to be muscular spasm and it may be arthritic changes too, to get the regular defecation, have more fiber containing diet, drink more water, stop worrying about it, stress condition may cause the muscular pain. Sometime it may be age or gender-related, and you have not given this information.
I would advise you, to try to forget the pain, if this is severe then it can be managed with NSAID (Non-steroid anti-inflammatory Drug) if the condition remains as it is, then it may require some investigations, fibromyalgia also needs to be ruled out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
