What Causes Lower Back Pain And Low Libido While On Metoprolol And Zetia?

I have been taking Zetia for high ldl for 8 months along with metoprolol astrvastin and irbersartin 54 year old white male had mild heart attack 2 years ago and quadruple bypass no significant damage to heart and for last 2 months have had stiff legs lower back pain and no sex drive also stopped metoprolol about 10 days ago to see if its cause but still not any better? Suggestion?

Hi,

Please note that Metoprolol causes decreased sex drive. As you have stopped drug, take care of your blood pressure and heart rate as these may rise. For sex drive, take any over-the-counter multivitamin antioxidant combination. For back pain, get X-ray for lumbar spine. Start a calcium supplement.
