General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.

Your symptoms do indicate a possible infection and so I would recommend a urine analysis, urine culture and sensitivity, and ultrasound KUB.

If the cause is a kidney stone or kidney abnormality we can find out. If it is not then the urine analysis will help indicate a simple infection. The culture examination will help to find the most suitable medication to help treat your infection. Please drink plenty of fluids in the meantime, and avoid all forms of sexual contact including masturbation. Also drink plenty of fluids to avoid your dehydration symptoms which are also seen.

Best wishes
