What Causes Lower Back Pain With Radiating Pain Down The Thigh?

My lower back aches (I ve never suffered lower back pain before,) my waist area aches when I twist or bend, and I have sharp pains that run down the front of my thigh. Sitting makes it worse. I can only take small steps with that leg or else the pain stops me in my tracks. When it s not a sharp pain and I am at rest, there is still an ache. At night I moan in my sleep so much that my husband goes to sleep on the coach. What could this be?

Some points need to be elucidated in the history. Kindly let me know your age,your occupation ,how many children you have got?are you in your menopause?

Any history of fall?any urine or faeces leakage involuntarily?any fever?weight loss?have you got any joint pain and swelling ither than this like swelling in your joint of hands or knees or shoulders?

Can I know have you got any history of diabetes,asthma, or any disease other than these?what medications you are taking?are you taking any steroids ?
