What Causes Lower Back Pain With Stiffness In Spine, Ribs And Torso?
I have been having lower back pain, the sciatic is the main issue, recently my spine, rips and torso have Began to get increasingly stif, I am only comfortable when walk or standing, I have tried yoga stretcher and it ting on Pilates bal, no help, trying to sleep or set is a jokr, at my wits end any help would appreciate.
Lower back pain is commonly caused by an intervertebral disk disease, commonly referred to as a slipped disc. When the disk touches or compresses a nerve, it causes spasm of the back muscles. This then causes torso stiffness and reduces the movements with simple movements now becoming uncomfortable or outright painful.
I would advise you to have an MRI of your lumbar spine to assess the extent of disease and also to enable you to get a treatment option which will likely be physiotherapy.
All the best.
