What Causes Lower Left Abdominal Pain And Constipation?
daughter has severe pain in lower left abdomen. pain radiating from high hip down left hip, thigh and groin. constipated. Had tubes tied 5.6.16. Put on birth control to help make monthly cycle more manageable. changed to another one after first one didn t stop the cycle. stopped taking birth control 2 weeks ago after it didn t stop bleeding.

These symptoms are suggestive of diverticulitis or diverticulosis and you need to do colonoscopy to rule this out or at least CTscan. It is treated with antibiotics and probiotics in most cases but surgery may be required in future if there is no improvement.
