What Causes Lower Pelvic Pain After Having Levonorgestrel?
I am 20 and i dnt knw my ovulation cycle because i have cysts in my left ovary and i had sex on last Wednesday and took levonorgestrel pill (emergency contraceptive two tablets. Now i am feeling pain in my left ovary.last month my periods came on 26 April.Am i pregnant?
Thank you for asking on HCM! I understand your concern.
The pain may be related to different causes like a ovarian cyst rupture or other intraabdominal causes like the bowel.
Your cycles are irregular due to the ovary cysts, so we can't say if it is just a delay or a possible pregnacy. You have taken the emergency pills, so a pregnancy would be less possible.
I would recommend you to perform an abdominal ultrasound to examine better your abdominal organs.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings! Dr. Iliri
