What Causes Lower Right Back Pain?

My wife has been experiencing severe pain in her lower right back side for about 4 days. It is a constant pain, hurts when she sits for a period but subsides somewhat when she is up and moving. She is a 53 YOF, 145 lbs., 5 -5 tall, no other symptoms. Is currently on high blood pressure meds. No known activity that would have attributed to the pain. Any basic ideas?

Hi,

It could be arthritis affecting the lower spine or it could be nerve damage. We need to get her examined to know what exactly it is.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
