What Causes Lump Above The Left Clavicle?

I have a lump above my left clavicle. It feels squishy as if it is liquid build up and is about 3 fingers wide. I just noticed it yesterday and at a walk in clinic today they arranged for xray and ultrasound next week. Any thoughts on what it may be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.
I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns.
I have read your question and understand your concern.

Any swelling in that area could be a number of things like
An enlarged lymph node, but that will not be like liquid filled.
Apex of the lung, that will feel like liquid filled.
Any cyst that will also feel like liquid filled.

I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time.
Thanks.
Dr. Taimur
