What Causes Lump And Purple Colored Bruise On Lower Thoracic Spine?

My four year old daughter has a small lump on the lower thoracic spine with a purple bruising. It does not hurt her to the touch and she doesn t remember falling or hitting it at all. Are there other things I should be concerned about to look for? Because my father is adopted and we know nothing of his med history and my father in law has cancer, we are always vigilant for cancers. I m always scared when I see bruising on their spines. I have three small children.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, looking to the age and history of lesion found on spinal region it is better to get done the MRI because it could be some congenital one if the MRI comes unremarkable then it could be some local lesion and it could be lymph node or some infection over all condition need to be kept under observation, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
