Hello,
You have a small white lump on the back of the throat, it has gone now but the sides of your face are sore. You also have a dry cough and pain chest on the left side. Such symptoms may be indicative of
pharyngitis complicated with
tonsillitis.
Acid reflux may trigger
chest pain on the left side of the chest. You can take
Ranitidine, one SOS when needed to get rid of acid reflux.
In acid reflux and spasm of the
esophagus can cause severe chest pains. You are suggested not to skip meals due to throat problems. You can take liquid food or semi solid food so that you don't hurt your throat. Keep lozenges in the throat to keep it moist, take sips of water. Dry throat will trigger cough. Gargle your throat with salt water 2-3 times a day. Take warm fluids and liquids. Taking antihistamine, one stat at bed time will give relief.
Since you have slight swelling in the face you are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT, to detect tonsillitis and pharyngitis, etc. Get swab test, sputum test and all investigations, tests and imaging tests required done. You may need antibiotics (a course of Doxycycline or Augmentin). You can take
acetaminophen, one SOS when needed to reduce inflammation, swelling, pain and discomfort. Stay at rest, give voice rest. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
