What Causes Lump Behind The Ear?
Yes please !!! my little boy has a lump behind the ear, we took him in and he was giving antibiotic , and nothing happened . Then we got referred for an ultrasound , there we were told that it might be a node nothing serious . But now ultrasound ddnt look good its not a simple node now we got referred a different specialist . I am getting very nervous about this what else could it possibly be ?? if its not just a node .

There are different causes of lump behind the ear.
A lymph node,
Lipoma,dermoid,
Retroauricular abscess etc.
Lymph node enlargement can be due to chronic infection,tb ,lymphoma,autoimmune diseases etc.
You should consult your doctor.the cause and the things in the node can be proved by FNAC or BIOPSY.
further treatment depends upon the report.
