What Causes Lump In Breast With History Of Breast Cancer?

I had a mammogram in August of last year which came back negative. However, I have recently found a lump in my right breast. It seemed to appear out of nowhere- I am post breast cancer (left breast-11 years clean ) and am monitored closely by my oncologist. I intend to make an appointment soon but for now I wonder how this lump can appear so suddenly.
