What Causes Lump Like Feeling In Throat While Using A Different Lipstick?

Hi there, In the past 10 days I have be having a lumpy feeling at the back of my throat like something is stuck there. I feel it constantly and I have notice that I have been swallowing way more than usual. I think it s some kind of an allergic reaction to a new lipgloss as my throat got better once i stopped using it however, I have never had any allergic reactions to cosmetics. Could it be from something else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I believe it can be allergic reaction to lip gloss. If you suspect this better stop using it. Rinse mouth and throat with saline water. Use antihistamines such benadryl or citerizine for allergies.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
