hello. i am from india. and i have a small lump a pea-sized one smooth and reddish colour just near my ass hole. its not painful when i pass stool but its painful when i sit or sometimes when i walk. its more painful when i try to touch it with my finger. whats it actually?how does it come and how can it be treated or cured?
Lump near the anus could be a skin tag, hemorrhoid or an anal wart. Examination of the lump can help in diagnosis. Hemorrhoid could be the most common cause since you have mentioned pain and reddish color of the lump.
Sitz bath which is immersing your lower body below waist in water can reduce the symptoms.Avoid pinching or poking. Any constipation present should be treated with laxatives. Hemorrhoids or piles may require surgical treatment based on the severity of the piles. Injection of sclerosing agents can also be done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
