Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I fell and have a lump on the right side of my right calf. It brusied and the blood drained into my foot and has bruised blood from the lump all around my leg down to my foot. This happened 10 days ago and the lump is still there, should I be worried.
Greetings Sir/Madam. Since you are having the Lump inspite of blood being drained before 10 days, we need more details regarding appearance, consistency, and much more characteristic of that wound from which only we'll be able to clearly distinguish about the seriousness of your condition for which you should definitely visit a doctor who will examine the wound and clearly says about the present condition viz whether mild or Serious.
In the meanwhile as a temporary remedy, 1. Compress the lump with ICE for about 10 min in order to ease the discomfort. 2. Restrict the movements on that affected leg and elevate the limb. 3. Stay calm and don't panic.
Everything will be Ok if you consult your Doctor in person . Hope i guided you right and it helped you.
