About a month ago I had an accident with my truck. I was not hurt except for a cut on my finger and a bruise on my lower leg. The cut has healed and the bruise has gone away but it left behind a lump in my leg about 1 inch square. Shouuld I be concerneed about this? It isn't painful .
Initially you can try ice compression in the region of the lump, if it is not resolved you can further be given an injection of epinephrine (with lidocaine) may be considered in the acute phase of a contusioninjury, along with ice and compression to help limit bleeding.
Consult a surgeon and take further suggestions.
Wish you a good health. Thank you.

What Causes Lump On Lower Leg Post Injury?
Welcome to health care magic Thanks for your query. Most commonly hematoma can develop as a result of bruising. Hematoma is a localized collection of blood outside the blood vessels. In your case, since it is not painful compartment syndrome can be ruled out. Initially you can try ice compression in the region of the lump, if it is not resolved you can further be given an injection of epinephrine (with lidocaine) may be considered in the acute phase of a contusion injury, along with ice and compression to help limit bleeding.
