Hello,

Bony lump on the right side of your knee can be any of the following:
1) Baker's cyst
2) Meniscal cyst
3) Bone tumors
4) Synovial chondromatosis
5) Dermatofibroma
6) Deformity due to severe and chronic osteoarthritis

You need to undergo the following:
1) Thorough clinical examination by an experienced orthopedic doctor
2) If necessary ultrasound imaging of knee joint
3) X-ray knee joint
4) If the above fail to recognise the cause, MRI knee joint is preferred.

So, please do consult a competent orthopedic doctor for further evaluation. Only with accurate diagnosis, treatment can be started.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
