Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 14 & he found a lump on the bottom of his left testicle that is a little bigger than a pea. It s red, not really painful, it s squishy feeling, & it s oozing some. He has a neurogenic bladder so he self Caths serveral times a day & he s had trouble with infections in that left testicle over the last couple of yrs. We ve just gotten back in town so I will be calling his urologist in the morning but was just wondering if you could give me a heads up on what it might be. Thanks!
The lump at the bottom of the testicle can be related to many medical conditions. Most are caused by something harmless, such as a build-up of fluid (cyst) or swollen veins in the testicles. I suggest to see your doctor for a physical examination and maybe a scrotal ultrasound is needed.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
