Hi, I'm an 18 year old male who is generally healthy. I haven't had any major illnesses, I get vaccinated regularly and have no allergies. A few days ago I felt a lump on the hinge of my jaw, Directly in front of my right earlobe. It's about the size of an M&M (Sorry, I can't think of anything else to compare it to at the moment) and it is painless. I've never had any problems with my jaw, I did have some minor oral surgery on the same side a few years ago but no complications ever arose from that. Every once in a while when eating my jaw would make a cracking noise (also on the right side), But that hasn't happened in months. Also, I've been experiencing strange "runny nose" fits for the past few days before this (along with an occasional headache). What are some of the problems I could have and should I go to a doctor for this? (If so, What sort of doctor do you recommend?)
