I had a salvary gland removed 6 years ago as it was swollen 3 months later I had swelling in my my eye and I had 4 years of steroids didn t go had radiotherapy for three weeks on the eye the 18 month of low dose chemotherapy oral form for 12 month and swelling in I went down still the but of all medication but 15 months on and I have just found a lump on other side of neck
I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you. As you had treatment with radio and chemotherapy Swelling in the neck could be lymph node enlargement or salivary gland enlargement. Which could be due to reactive changes, or nonspecific lymphadenitis or sialdenitis, and rarely a benign or malignant tumor. I advise you to get fnac done which will help in diagnosing the cause of swelling. This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.
Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
