What Causes Lump On The Shin Along With Numbness?

I fell on 28/11/2015 and twisted my ankle. I was on crutches for a couple of weeks. Since then I have a small lump on my shin. Not seen clearly but can be felt. I keep getting a pain on the lower part of my foot and the lump has a numbness to it. Should I be worried?
