What Causes Lump Under Armpit Post Gall Bladder Removal?

My daughter just had her gallbladder removed one week ago. She is recovering well but noticed a swollen lump under each armpit that is slightly painful she had this happen once before after use of antibiotics but isnt on them post surgery. They did give her antibiotics with surgery. Not sure if it is just part of her body recovering...

Hi.

I am sure she is already mature or maturing physically, and adolescent or mature females do experience this temporary lump in their axillary region especially around their period, but more so due to a hormonal change and the surgery and medications could have caused just that. Wait to see if the lump persists, which it shouldn't and if it does then report to a gynecologist.
