Hello,

I can understand your concern. As the lumps are moving and you experience pain when you press it, it seems that the lymph nodes on both sides can be infected due to sore throat, cold or tonsillitis. If you do have such problems, you should start antibiotics. You can take Azithromycin 500 mg (Azee 500) once a day for 3 days and the swelling should disappear.

Alternatively, what you are feeling when you touch are salivary glands. Some people do have salivary glands positioned at the area where it can be touched and felt under the jaw. For the confirmation of this, I would recommend that you visit a dentist or oral surgeon for clinical examination.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
