What Causes Lumps Along With Swelling On Either Side Of The Groin?
Hi, I m experiencing swelling on both sides of my groin area. They are penny size lumps and very tender to touch. Also, about 3 days ago a rash formed on my hips, lower stomach and inner thigh. Painful urination and slight pink color (possibly blood) should I seek emergency medical care or do these symptoms occur for UTI?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lumps along with swelling on either side of the groin . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like swollen lymph gland , hernia sexually transmitted infections or saphena varix. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically and check for tenderness and consistency , take sample for lab test and prescribe antibacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis . Doctor may also prescribe anti inflammatory and vitamin supplement for quick healing . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and apply warm compresses . Wear loose cloths and apply moisturizer .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
