Hello,
Lumps behind the ear can be due to infection, bumps, knots, swelling, nodules, cysts,
mastoiditis, etc. Most lumps are harmless but it should be treated and not left neglected. Get clinically examined by a GP or ENT to detect infection, cyst, mastoiditis, etc. Sometimes, untreated ear infections spread and may cause mastoiditis.
If it is a cyst it will be removed by surgery by the treating doctor under LA. Conservative treatment is commonly given to treat Mastoiditis. But if it does not respond to treatment surgery may be needed to drain the middle ear. She can take enriched protein diet to stop
hair fall. Take Logihair caps, once daily to help hair re-growth & stop hair fall. Get her treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
