What Causes Lumps On The Lower Leg In People With Cervical Disc Protrusion?

Hello, i am female 29 years old.I have a small lump on my lower left leg which i had noticed a few weeks before. It is visible from the outside but not painful. Recently i was undergoing treatment for my cervical disc protrusion. I wish to know if the lump formed is actually the swelling or should get it tested? please advise.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should consider having the lump assessed if you are concerned.

If it was listed as a possible side effect of your treatment then you may not need to be concerned but if it was not mentioned then assessment would be needed if it is increasing in size or bothersome in any way.

Lumps can be due to trauma, inflammation, infection. They may simply be benign growths that do not have any associated effects but this would not be known if it is not seen.

I hope this helps
