What Causes Lumps On The Right Side Of The Groin And Inner Labia?

Hi, I am a 21-year-old female. I recently noticed that I have two lumps. One on the right side of my groin on my bikini area. It doesn t hurt but when I press on it is a little tender. I have another one on also on the right side of my inner labia. Plus I have not had my period this month. I am very scared and worried. And i am a virgin so it cant be an STD.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

According to history you can have superficial bacterial skin infection or hair follicle infection...

Topical antibiotic can be applied over lesion...

Amoxiclav like suitable antibiotic can be prescribed...

Wear loose cloth and tight clothing restricted for few days..

If infective lesion increased in size and abscess developes than incision and drainage needed

Take care

Consult nearby doctor for examination and accordingly get prescription
