Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Small lump on underside of penis shaft. Lymphocele? First I would like to state that I am clear of all stds and cancer. I kno this because my blood was checked recently for an array of things because of unrelated issues. After a vigorous masturbation session the next Morning I noticed a small pea sized lump on the underside of my penis about mid shaft. It doesn t really hurt unless I mess with it. It is attached to the skin and is not moveable. I can lift the skin up off of my penis and it seems to lot be connected in any way to the actual meat, just the skin. Lymphocele possibly? Also I cannot just wait for this to go away on its own. Would it be safe to sterilize the area and drain it with a sterile needle/syringe? Thanking you now for your answers.
It appears to me a case of lymphocele as predicted by you. It is a condition which can happen after masturbation or sex and happens due to collection of a fluid called lymph. There is nothing to worry and It is treatable. The collection can be drained out with a syringe under ultrasound guidance.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
