What Causes Memory Lapse While On Zoloft, Levothyroxine And Biotin?

I am taking 100mgm Zoloft daily, levothyroxine 100mgm, flonase 50mgm 2puffs at night. OTC biotin 5000mcg, lutein,1200mgm calcium w.800IU vit D, vit D2000 units, one senior woman s vitamin combo. I have recently developed brief memory blanking out, not the usual name forgetting, and drying up when I am talking to a group. Can any of these drugs react to cause this? I am 84 yrs old and have recently passed the brief memory test in my doctor s office.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Dear tranquilizers, antidepressants, some blood pressure drugs, and other medications can affect memory, usually by causing sedation or confusion. That can make it difficult to pay close attention to new things. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you suspect that a new medication is taking the edge off your memory. Zoloft may can cause memory lapse in old age. Please also check for Alzheimer's disease or infections or anemia or Parkinsonism or normal pressure hydrocephalus or acute electrolyte imbalance etc. Consult your neuro-physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
