What Causes Memory Loss Along With Dizziness And Fatigue?
Hello I passed out back in 2016. Since then I have been having symptoms of memory loss, dizziness, nerve issues all over my body and in my head, and weakness. I went to the doctor and he said I had reactive hypoglycemia after being in the ER twice with low blood sugar levels. I will eat and two hours after I eat protein and fiber my blood sugar drops low. I didn’t know this was an issue (low blood sugar) until last month but I believe I’ve had it for about a year and a half now. Does this sound like neuroglycopenia?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello and Welcome to ' Ask a doctor ' service . I have read your query and here is my answer.
You are having hypoglycemia symptoms. As you develop hypo 2 hours after meal. I will suggest that you should take low glycemic index foods as these cause sustained level of blood sugar. I also suggest to take serum insulin level and ultrasound abdomen to rule out any insulin secreting tumor or any adrenal problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
