What Causes Memory Loss And Confusion While Suffering From Osteoarthritis?

I am a 59 year old female that has osteoarthritis in several locations of my spine. But my cervical disc, I believe C5 if protuding against my spinal cord. Lately I have been experiencing significant memory loss and confusion. Can this be related to my cervical problem?

Memory loss and confusion may not be related to osteoarthritis.A protruded C5 may compress nerves and affect your body parts below C5.Memory loss however has to do with the brain making osteoarthritis less possible cause of the problem.Memory loss may be a sign of dementia.Possible causes of memory loss include:
-Aging
-Alzheima's disease
-Vascular dementia
-Frontotemporal dementia
-Lewy body dementia
With all these, you may see a Neurologist foe evaluation and work-ups.A brain CT scan will be very useful.
