General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, as we age the cognitive abilities get worse. Diabetes and high blood pressure also contribute to impaired cognitive abilities.

Our brain start to shrink as we age and diabetes and high blood pressure damage the blood vessels and this can cause the symptoms you mentioned. Also the MRI you had didn't show any specific pathologies.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
