Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Mother is 91 years old and overall still in reasonably good health. But when she has been sleeping in bed and she first wakes up she have memory loss. Can this be from dementia, sleep apnea, dehydration, mini-strokes, or other circulation issues to the brain?? Thanks!
Good day and thank you for posting this question. Your Mom's health condition is most likely dementia. It is not any of the other ones you mentioned. If I were your doctor I would refer your mother to see a Geriatrician, they are expert doctors that deals with elderly people. I hope it helps. Thank you.
