Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 51 year old woman and am currently experiencing some pretty serious problems with my memory. I take 14 different medications including atorvastatin. What is the best way for me to find out which, if any, of my medicines might be contributing to my memory loss?
I think probably the best and easiest way for you to find out if any of your medications could be contributing to your memory loss would be to open up another question and list out your medications.
That way we can check them to see if any might have this side effect or something like it. I can tell you that atorvastatin does not have this as a known side effect, so we can at least rule out that medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
