I have had a severe cough for last few days. I have found today when I cough I am getting some menstrual bleeding, it s almost like bladder leakage which I get frequently since I had my child in 2012. My husband and I started trying for a second child almost a year ago and in march this year I stopped having my period. I went to the dr several times and blood tests and ultrasounds showed nothing out of the ordinary. My period started again in august when I had an extremely light flow for about 4 days, 2 weeks later I had another period which was extremely heavy and bright red and there was a lot of large chunks. It is now about a week since and it seems like the same thing is happening now, with every cough today I can feel liquid escape and it s menstrual period. I did go for quite some time without having my period and the dr said when I got it it would be quite heavy, but 3 periods in like a 6 week period.? I have always had routine periods like clock work since I first got them in my teens. I am very overweight but this has not affected them before.
